What kind of cleaning method do you use?
Bear Steam Cleaning operates the latest in truck mounted equipment and we use a hot water extraction method. This method heats the water up to 180°, which eliminates dust mites, carpet mites, bed bugs and any other live allergens by heating and then thoroughly extracting them. That means fewer allergens for you and your family.
Is my carpet wet when you’re done?
Yes. The carpet will be damp for approximately 4-6 hours, depending on season and outside temperature. You can walk on carpeting with clean bare feet or socks - leave your shoes at the door though.
How soon are you able to schedule my cleaning?
In most cases we can schedule you for the following day.
Do you provide free estimates?
Bear Steam Cleaning offers straightfoward, easy to understand pricing. We can quote our pricing for free over the phone when you call. If you would like any additional services, we can quote prices for those services prior to your scheduled cleaning in most cases.
(Upholstery must be quoted on site due to the different fabrics on the market, and the amount of soiling, size of the piece etc.) Our experienced customer service team can answer any questions you may have and quote you a starting price for these services.
Do you clean furniture?
As long as it is safe to clean, we can. Pricing does vary based on size, number of cushions and amount of soiling. Our trained technicians will confirm pricing when they are on site before cleaning begins.
What do I need to do on the day of my carpet cleaning?
Relocate all accessories from carpeting to an area that is not being cleaned. This includes any fragile pieces, lamps etc. that might accidentally be bumped during moving and cleaning. Vacuum carpeting and watch for us to arrive! This will ensure a thorough, and effective cleaning.
